Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work nights and weekends in trauma nurse lead position within the emergency room environment
• Focus on initial primary and secondary survey period for trauma patients
• Work with 2 trauma bays in the emergency department
• Required certifications: TNCC (required), ACLS, BLS, PALS
• ENPC certification preferred
• Dress code: RED scrubs top with BLACK scrubs bottom
• Operate Level 1 rapid infuser and HOT LINE equipment
• Use GE care scape (ultrasound), Hamilton vent, CAT tourniquet, and Alaris IV pump
• Documentation through Meditech EMR system
• Perform IV placement, spinal stabilization, splinting, and assist with chest tube procedures
• Assist with traction, central/art line placement, and emergency bedside procedures
• Run mass transfusions through level 1 rapid infuser
• Provide OR assistance when needed
• Must have strong IV background and work effectively in high stress environment
• Demonstrate rapid critical thinking skills
• No floating or on-call requirements

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
