Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Saturday shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM as needed
• Average 38 screening mammograms and 18 diagnostic mammograms per day
• Work with GE Senographe Pristina equipment
• Use Cerner and Penrad documentation systems
• Required to float to other breast centers if needed
• Must have screening mammogram experience and competency in additional imaging views including magnification and spot compression
• Experience required in advanced mammography imaging and ability to demonstrate complicated mammographic cases to radiologists
• Perform stereotactic biopsies, pre-surgical localizations, and contrast enhanced mammography
• Required certifications: Current ARRT (R) and (M) Mammography certification, BLS certification
• Must meet MQSA Standards including initial 40 hours mammography training, continuing education requirements, maintaining 200 mammograms per 2 years, 8 hours digital mammography training, and 8 hours digital tomosynthesis training
• IV certification and competency in invasive and sterile procedures required
• Experience working in women's imaging center with sensitivity to patients with cancer history
• Dress code: Pink top and black pants
