RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Day shift schedule working 5x8 hour shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours as needed
• 1+ years of experience required
• Must take call and remain within 30 minutes of facility
• Required to travel to Cassville as needed for call and float assignments
• BLS certification required; ACLS & PALS preferred
• Must have endoscopy, cataract, general surgery skills, and general C-section skills
• Anticipate surgeon needs, inspect and deliver sterile equipment, maintain knowledge of procedures
• Responsible for reporting, restocking rooms, and planning for next day
• Work with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Black scrubs required
• Perform patient handoffs utilizing safety tools (SBAR, Report at Bedside)
• Participate in process improvement activities and maintain required competencies
• Delegate and guide unlicensed healthcare providers and LPNs
• Must be organized, self-starter, meticulous, focused, attentive with good communication skills
