RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts (5x8) Monday through Friday with weekend call rotation
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours as needed
• Must take call and remain within 30 minutes of facility
• Required to travel to Cassville as needed for call and float requirements
• Must have 1+ years of experience
• Required certifications: BLS; ACLS & PALS preferred
• Must have endoscopy, cataract, general surgery skills, and general C-section skills
• Anticipate surgeon needs, inspect and deliver sterile equipment, maintain knowledge of procedures
• Responsible for reports, restocking rooms, and planning for next day
• Work with medical patients using EPIC EMR system
• Must be organized, self-starter, meticulous, focused, attentive with good communication skills
• Dress code requires black scrubs
• Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1
• Perform patient handoffs utilizing SBAR and report at bedside
• Participate in process improvement activities and complete required competencies
• Delegate and direct unlicensed healthcare providers and LPNs
