RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU Adult

Job Details:

• Provide critical care nursing for patients who have suffered heart attacks, strokes, shock, severe trauma, respiratory distress, or other severe medical conditions
• Assess patient conditions and plan and implement comprehensive patient care plans
• Treat wounds and provide advanced life support interventions
• Assist physicians in performing various medical procedures
• Observe and record patient vital signs continuously
• Ensure proper functioning of ventilators, monitors, and other critical medical equipment
• Adjust ventilator settings and manage IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications as prescribed
• Perform suctioning procedures as needed
• Collaborate effectively with critical care team members
• Respond to life-saving emergency situations using established nursing standards and protocols
• Act as patient advocate throughout the care process
• Provide education and emotional support to patient families
• Care for pre- and post-operative patients
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS through American Heart Association
• California RN license required
• 2 positions available for peak period coverage
