Description
Opportunity:
RN - CVICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement (Friday-Saturday-Sunday)
• Holiday requirement applies
• Call or standby requirement included
• First to float when floating requirements arise
• Work in CVICU within a mixed medical-surgical unit with 16 beds/rooms
• Care for 1 cardiac surgery patient and 12 additional general med-surg ICU patients daily
• Work with 1 cardiothoracic surgeon and 1 CTS PA
• Must have recent proficiency in immediate post-op cardiac surgery recovery
• IABP, CRRT, ECMO experience preferred but not required
• Handle patients with mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacements, CABG, AAA repair
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must take proctored CVICU exam and manager interview via Zoom prior to offer
• 3 shifts for orientation provided
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Use Cerner EMR system
• BSN not required
• Acute care setting

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
