RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Details:

• Work in Operating Room specializing in Open Heart procedures
• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with call coverage after 3:00 PM and weekend call
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Must have Open Heart experience and Cardiothoracic service line experience
• Experience with other service lines preferred (Trauma, General, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedic, Neurology, Plastics)
• Float to other ORs when no open heart procedures are scheduled
• Perform procedures including CABG (with and without EVH), Impellas, Pericardial windows, Valve replacements, and ECMO
• Work with standard OR equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Must demonstrate dependability and flexibility
• Call assistance available for holidays
• Floating assignments within Operating Room

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center featuring 457 beds and 14 operating rooms, including one dedicated Open Heart room with plans for expansion to two Open Heart rooms. The facility operates a specialized cardiovascular surgery program within the Operating Room department, located on the first floor of the South Tower. The facility maintains high standards for cardiac care and employs a team of 8 staff members including 4 RNs and 4 technicians to support advanced cardiovascular procedures.
