RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Rotating weekend schedule - every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Float within CTICU/ICU and any progressive unit as needed
• Patient ratio of 2:1, maximum 3:1
• Work on 14-bed Medical Surgical ICU unit
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• 1+ years of experience required
• Dress code: Black scrubs required
• Equipment includes Alaris pumps, Prismaflex CRRT machines, IABP Abbott, and Omnicell med dispensing
• EPIC charting system
• Care for fresh post-op CABG patients, neuro patients with ventriculostomies and lumbar drains, prolonged ventilator or high oxygen demand patients, sepsis patients, TNK/Stroke patients, and CRRT patients
• Must be competent team player with good work ethic and flexibility
• Flu vaccination required from November 1 - April 1
• Up to 5 days time off can be automatically approved in each 13-week period
• Expected to work at least one major summer or winter holiday
