RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Rotating every other weekend schedule required
• No call requirements
• Patient ratio of 2:1 with maximum of 3:1
• Float within CTICU/ICU and progressive units as needed
• Care for fresh post-operative CABG patients, neuro patients with ventriculostomy drains, lumbar drains, prolonged ventilator or high oxygen demand patients, sepsis cases, TNK/stroke patients, and CRRT patients
• Work with 14-bed Medical Surgical ICU unit
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Minimum 1+ years of experience required
• Equipment includes Alaris pumps, Prismaflex CRRT machines, IABP Abbott, EPIC charting, and Omnicell medication dispensing
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code requires black scrubs
• Flu vaccination required from November 1 to April 1
• Contract duration of 13 weeks with potential extension up to 26 weeks
• Up to 5 days of time off can be automatically approved in each 13-week period
• Expected to work at least one major summer or winter holiday
