RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Work in 7 OR suites with team of 45 staff members
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge RN, 6-7 RNs, 6-7 CSTs, orderly, and anesthesia techs
• Must have operating room experience (Labor & Delivery only is not applicable)
• Must have neurosurgery and orthopedic/spine experience
• Minimum 1 year operating room experience required
• General/trauma OR skills required
• Trauma center experience preferred
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• Typical procedures include orthopedic, neurosurgery, robotics, general surgery, trauma, and urology
• On-call requirements: approximately 10-15 days per month for CV positions
• Must maintain positive attitude and be a strong team player
• Required certification: BLS
• EMR system: Meditech
• Dress code: Change into hospital-provided scrubs each day
• Various equipment used throughout department
