Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Choose between 36 or 48 guaranteed weekly hours (must be specified on submission)
• Work every other weekend as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Patient ratios: 1:6-7 on night shift (ratios not guaranteed)
• May be floated to other units depending on staffing needs
• Care for surgical patients including GI, GU, Plastics, and overflow Ortho cases
• Work with 30-bed unit using EPIC electronic medical records
• Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo enteral feeding pumps, wound vacs, SCD machines, PCA pumps, low air loss mattresses, and remote telemetry monitors
• Required: Current RN License eligible for Missouri licensure and BLS from AHA
• Preferred certifications: ACLS from AHA and TNCC
• Minimum 1 year medical surgical inpatient experience required
• Dress code: Black scrubs or Mercy M Wear only
• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation
• Physical demands include standing and walking most of the time, bending, stooping, lifting and turning patients with assistance
• Must be patient-focused team player

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
