RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, four days per week
• 10-12 days of call required in 6 weeks
• 2 years of experience required
• Arizona license and BLS certification required
• Floating is required when needed
• No block schedule options available
• No 48-hour guarantee option
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care
• Work as part of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs and other personnel
• Ensure supplies availability and timeliness of surgical cases
• Communicate with patient families
• Update physician preference cards
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care
• Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies
• Use SurgiNet (Cerner) EMR system
• Scrub colors provided by facility
