RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on 3 West telemetry unit in medical/surgical orthopedic setting
• Care for maximum patient ratio of 6:1
• 22-bed unit with standard telemetry equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Float to other medical/surgical units as needed
• Must have 2+ years acute medical/surgical experience within the last year
• Must be able to care for 4-6 patients at a time
• 2+ years orthopedic nursing experience preferred
• Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance, and medication administration
• Provide care for medical/surgical orthopedic patients
• Communicate effectively with all members of care team and maintain documentation in electronic health record
• RN license required
• Scrubs dress code
• Must demonstrate friendly, positive, patient-centered, and team-focused personality
