RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on 16-bed medical/surgical unit caring for med/surg and COVID+ patients
• Patient ratio maximum 6:1 with ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time required
• Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 3-4 RNs, 1 PCA
• Night shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 1 PCA
• Rotating weekends as needed for travel RNs
• Use Meditech EMR system with standard equipment
• 1+ years acute med/surg experience within the last year required
• 2+ years acute med/surg experience within the last year preferred
• Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance, medication administration
• Maintain communication with all members of care team and complete documentation in EHR
• Float to other med/surg units as needed
• RN license required
• Scrubs dress code
• Must demonstrate friendly, positive, patient-centered, team-focused personality
