Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Perfusionist - Perfusionist
Job Details:
• MUST have ABCP certification and Missouri perfusionist license required
• Minimum 5 years CCP (Certified Clinical Perfusionist) experience required
• Must have experience with Spectrum HLM (Heart Lung Machine)
• Experience required with Spectrum Quantum pumps and Centrifugal pump head (not roller head)
• Adult patients only with average pump time of 2.5 hours
• Minimal ECMO experience with Cardiohelp ECMO Pump
• Must be willing to take call - on average 2 days per week
• Shared weekly/weekend call requirements with 2 perfusionists on call daily
• Work with volume of approximately 500 heart surgeries per year
• Procedures performed include: CABG, MVR, AVR, Aortic Dissections, TAVR, ECMO initiation
• Equipment includes: Spectrum Quantum HLM, CATS Cell Saver, Cardioquip H/C, Cardiohelp
• Documentation systems: Viper/Spectrum, Meditech
• Work at both Research Medical Center and Overland Park Regional Medical Center
• BLS certification required
• Excellent verbal communication skills essential

The perfusion team consists of experienced professionals including 7 full-time and 2 part-time perfusionists with 2 assistants, utilizing advanced equipment and technology for cardiac surgery support. The facility maintains modern perfusion equipment and comprehensive cardiac care capabilities across multiple locations.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
