Description
Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement (possibly more if needed based on staffing needs)
• Holiday shifts required when there is a need
• No call or standby requirements
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:2 in 10-bed Intensive Care Unit
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• BSN degree not required
• Minimum 1 year ICU experience required, first-time travelers acceptable
• Must be comfortable titrating drips including Propofol, Levophed, Dobutamine, Vasopressin, Fentanyl, Epinephrine, and Diltiazem
• Required to read telemetry strips as there are no telemetry technicians
• Care for patients with heart failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, ventilated patients, GI bleeds, strokes, TPA patients, post-code patients, pneumonia, and post-surgical complications
• Work with ventilators, high flow oxygen, and BiPAP equipment
• Float to telemetry unit with 1:3 ratio or may take full assignment, and to other ICUs in Meridian and Boise
• Any color scrubs acceptable as long as clean and professional
• 1-2 shifts of unit-specific orientation depending on experience
• Use EPIC charting system
• Must be a good team player

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
