RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Choose between 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Work every other weekend as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
• Must have 1 year Med Surg experience (inpatient only)
• 1 year Neuro experience preferred
• Current RN license required (Missouri eligible or currently licensed in Missouri)
• BLS from AHA required, ACLS from AHA preferred
• Black scrubs required - no other colors acceptable
• Work with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Patient ratios vary throughout shift
• Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1
• Night shift nurses orient on day shift and must be available entire week for orientation
• Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Care for patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities
• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort
• Stand and walk most of the time, with significant bending, stooping, lifting and turning patients with assistance
