Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with coverage required 24 hours a day
• Day and night shift positions available
• Must be willing to work weekends and nights
• No call responsibilities associated with position
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Work with GE 1.5 Discovery 450 CT equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform CT scans, MRI, body scans, and X-rays
• Create pictures of bones, organs, and tissues to combine for accurate picture assessment
• Must work independently - this is a MUST requirement
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
• Preferred certifications: ACLS (not required), RT (T), ASRT, FASRT
• Must be a critical thinker, flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently
• Dress code: Royal blue or white scrubs required

The facility is a certified primary stroke center and Blue Distinction Stroke Center with a new patient tower opening. The CT department operates with 2 CT scanners and 2 tables, staffed with 2 technologists providing 24-hour coverage through 12-hour shifts. The facility emphasizes quality patient care and maintains modern imaging equipment to serve the community's diagnostic needs.
