Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day
• Must have electrophysiology experience
• Support cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing the lab and operating essential equipment
• Operate fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition systems
• Maintain stringent aseptic technique and patient safety standards
• Document patient information and hemodynamic measurements accurately
• Collaborate with medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency
• Serve as radiation safety representative during X-ray usage
• Ensure proper patient positioning and secure placement on procedure table
• Set up and operate specialized cath lab equipment including imaging systems, contrast injector, hemodynamic system, and various cardiac devices
• Support physician needs during procedures and anticipate equipment requirements
• Perform daily room checks and supply stocking
• Maintain proficiency in access site management
• Graduate from accredited school of Radiology Technology or associate's degree in healthcare-related field required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 0-1 year experience in acute care setting preferred
• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA only
• Preferred certifications include RCIS, RCES, RCS, or ARRT specializations
• Texas state licensure required (MRT or LMRT by TMB)
• Must adhere to organizational dress code and attendance policies
