Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work in the Diagnostic Testing Center on the 1st floor
• Day shift staffing includes 3 technicians per shift
• Night shift operates on call basis
• Weekend and on-call responsibilities required
• Perform complete adult transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms
• Provide portable echocardiograms in patient rooms
• Build structured reports for physician review
• Operate GE Vivid E9 ultrasound equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Experience administering ultrasound contrast such as Definity and agitated saline preferred
• Assist physicians during transesophageal echocardiograms
• Must be self-motivated and independent worker who thrives in busy, fast-paced environment
• Required certifications: ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
• State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License required
• Medical scrubs dress code required

This 220-bed hospital operates a comprehensive Diagnostic Testing Center providing advanced cardiac imaging services to the community. The facility employs 4 full-time and 3 PRN technologists in the echo department, utilizing state-of-the-art GE Vivid E9 equipment and Meditech EMR systems. The organization focuses on delivering high-quality cardiac diagnostic services including adult transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
