Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Day shift only with 8.5-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Night shift not typical but hours could extend past 6:00 PM depending on patient volumes
• No weekends or on-call responsibilities
• Work with 4 machines: 2 Linear Accelerators, 1 CT Simulator, and 1 CyberKnife
• Patient ratios: 2.5 therapists per linear accelerator, 2 per CyberKnife, and 2 per simulator
• Equipment includes Elekta Versa HD, GE Lightspeed simulator, and Accuray M6 CyberKnife
• Use Mosaiq EMR system
• Perform daily treatments including CBCT, IGRT, IMRT, and 3D on linear accelerators
• May perform DiBH on CRad if assigned to Infinity 1
• Float to CT Simulation as needed
• Required certification: ARRT
• Must have Elekta linear accelerator experience and Mosaiq EMR experience
• Preferred skills include CT simulation experience and CRad motion management experience
• Dress code: Navy blue scrub top with navy blue or gray bottoms
• Seeking candidates with good communication skills, self-starter mentality, high energy, and positive attitude for teamwork

The radiation therapy department employs a team of 9 radiation therapists and maintains high standards for patient care with appropriate staffing ratios to ensure quality treatment delivery.
