Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Night shift positions available with first priority for floating assignments
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Nurse to patient ratios: Days 1:4-5, Nights 1:5-6
• 30-bed medical surgical unit specializing in post-operative care
• Care for patients with total joint replacements, spinal surgery, urology procedures, abdominal surgery, bariatrics, and medical overflow
• Experience with hemovacs, JP drains, colostomies, and post-operative care
• Manage occasional heparin drips, PCA pumps, and TPN
• Floating required to medical and telemetry units
• BLS certification required
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Bedside shift reporting expected
• EPIC charting system
• BSN not required
• Profile review and manager interview required
• 7-7 rotation will not occur more than weekly
• Block scheduling considered if unit needs are met
• 4 shifts cancellation policy per contract (3 shifts if under 13 weeks)
• RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract)
