RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed weekly hours available at 36 or 48 hours
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend requirements as needed by facility, approximately every other weekend
• No call requirements
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
• Current RN license required (Missouri license or eligible for Missouri licensure)
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA
• Preferred certifications: ACLS from AHA
• Minimum 1 year medical surgical experience required (inpatient only)
• Preferred 1 year neurology experience
• Dress code: Black scrubs only
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Utilize nursing process to provide patient care for post-trauma, surgical, and medical comorbidities
• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
• Stand and walk majority of shift with significant bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients
• Physical demands include push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
• High risk exposure to blood and body fluids
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift with full week availability required
