RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call responsibilities required
• 6 weekend shifts per schedule for night shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Maintain 2:1 and 1:1 patient ratios in 20-bed intensive care unit
• Required experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms
• Must have experience with titratable drips and understanding of hemodynamics
• Experience required with respiratory patients including ventilators, BiPAP, trachs, and Airvo
• Preferred experience with CRRT and SLED dialysis
• Participate in procedures including central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, lumbar punctures, and intubation
• Work with GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Prismax CRRT, and Tablo SLED equipment
• Use Meditech electronic medical record system
• Navy scrubs required
• Must be a team player with positive attitude and adaptability

The facility maintains a full staff of experienced nurses including charge nurses and registered nurses working around the clock to deliver exceptional patient care. The ICU specializes in complex critical care cases requiring sophisticated monitoring and life support equipment, with a focus on cardiac, respiratory, and multi-system patients requiring intensive intervention.
