Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• Night shifts available
• First to float when floating is required
• Patient ratios: Days 1:5, Nights 1:6
• Care for 61 combined beds on MS Float unit
• Nurse aide support available with 1:15 ratios
• Call or standby requirement with LCD
• Required certification: BLS
• Any scrub color acceptable for dress code
• Care for surgical patients including total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, and general surgery cases
• Treat medical patients with conditions such as CHF, CVA, SOB, and diabetic issues
• Work with respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow devices
• Telemetry monitoring available with monitor tech reading strips and RN confirmation
• No drip titration required
• No charge nurse or house supervisor responsibilities
• EPIC charting system used
• BSN not required
• Travel CBO and unit-specific float checklist for orientation
• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract (3 shifts if contract under 13 weeks)
