RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in an 8-bed emergency department providing care for high and low acuity ED patients
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Work with a daily staff of 6 including day shift (2 RNs, 1 EMT) and night shift (2 RNs)
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Must be able to care for critically ill patients and have ED nursing experience
• Typical procedures include medication administration, critical patient care, and lab work
• Use GE equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Must be able to work both independently and with team
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC
• ENPC certification preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required
• No floating to other areas
