RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Pre Op

Job Details:

• Work 4 nine-hour shifts in Same Day Surgery unit
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratio with 15-bed capacity
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative phase 2 care
• Work in fast-paced environment with attention to detail for preoperative patients
• Required knowledge of orthopedic and general surgery procedures and preoperative medications
• Float only for guaranteed hours to areas of competency
• Use GE monitors, stretchers, and ultrasound equipment
• Document using Meditech Expanse system
• Perform advanced skills including post sedation monitoring, labs, and EKGs
• Assist anesthesia providers with nerve blocks and spinal procedures
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Dress code: Ceil blue or Navy blue uniform required
• All RN staff and OR aids available to assist as needed
