RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• Call requirements: Any day scheduled, average around 5 or less per 8 weeks
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Float requirements as required by facility
• Must have 2 years Level 1 or 2 Trauma Experience (Teaching hospital experience will be considered)
• Scrub and OR Circulator experience required
• Interventional Vascular experience at least 1 year and competent in conscious sedation required
• Current RN License (meets criteria for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only
• Work with various equipment including DaVinci Robot
• Use EPIC EMR system
• Dress code: Black scrubs required, no unprofessional attire or jeans
• Assist with Vascular Surgeon in OR and Hybrid Imaging suite
• Work with team of nurses and surgical techs for Endo and Open cases
• Care for patients ranging from outpatient to critical care inpatient
• Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Physical requirements include standing and walking most of the time, lifting and pushing patients, lifting up to 50 lbs.
