Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in 29-bed operating room unit with rotating weekend schedule
• 4 on-call requirements per 4-week period including 2 weeknight calls (7p-7am), 2 weekend 24-hour calls, and 1 holiday 24-hour call if holiday falls within period
• Patient ratio of 3:1
• Must function as both scrub nurse and circulator for all service lines
• Work with equipment including x-rays, preoperative equipment, anesthesia equipment, lab equipment, and EKG
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Minimum 2 years current experience in acute OR setting required
• Ortho, spine, and joint replacement experience required
• Knee and hip replacement experience required
• PALS and CNOR certifications preferred
• Charge experience preferred
• Typical procedures include joint replacement, ENT, ortho, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery
• Dress code requires navy blue or royal blue scrubs (no surgical-type scrubs)
• Responsible for observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation of patient care

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
