RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week with every other weekend requirement
• 6-bed ICU unit with patient ratios mainly 2:1, some 1:1 and 3:1
• Float to ICU overflow unit as needed
• Work with equipment including Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG
• Use Meditech documentation system
• ICU experience required
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills essential
• Procedures performed include central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Dress code requires Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs
• Unit staffing includes 1 Nurse Tech
• Unit-specific policies and guidelines provided during education onboarding
• Work with newest GE ICU monitors and expanding service lines
