RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• 2 years of hospital experience required
• Must have active nursing license at time of submission
• Work on Progressive Care Neuro Trauma unit
• 4:1 patient ratio
• Work every other weekend with no on-call requirement
• Float to all inpatient units including ICU and ED
• Day shift staffing: 6-7 RNs and 2 aides
• Night shift staffing: 6-7 RNs and 2 aides
• Work with equipment including bedside monitors, end tidal O2 monitoring, high flow oxygen, chronic vents, and subdural drains
• Perform typical procedures including chest tubes and EEGs
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Preferred certifications: NIHSS and TNCC
• Must have telemetry and step-down experience
• Neuro and trauma experience preferred
• Professional scrubs required (no specific color requirement)
• Must be team-oriented
