RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 3x12 shift schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend requirements typically every other weekend as required by facility
• Call requirements as needed by facility
• Float to mother/baby and pediatrics as required by facility
• Patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3 (estimates, not guaranteed)
• Work in 16-bed Level III NICU with neonatal patients
• Required certifications: BLS AHA and NRP
• Preferred certification: NIHSS
• 3+ years experience in Level III or higher NICU required
• Must have experience with STABLE protocols, bubble CPAP, high flow, and high-risk deliveries
• Must have minimum 2-3 years experience with specialized NICU equipment and procedures
• Work with GE equipment primarily and EPIC EMR system
• Dress code requires black scrubs only, no t-shirts with writing except approved M-Wear
• Must demonstrate excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills
• Must be familiar with Level III NICU concepts, practices, and procedures
• Ideal candidate is a good team player with optimistic, kind personality and great initiative
• Flu vaccination required for all travelers with client-approved exceptions
