RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour mid-shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• 13-week assignment starting ASAP
• Auto offers only - no interviews required
• 1+ years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, SAMA or equivalent
• Preferred certifications: TNCC and ENPC
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs
• Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner
• Patient ratio: 1:4 general patients, 1:1-2 for trauma patients
• 24-bed emergency department unit
• Rapidly assess patients' condition and assign Emergency Severity Index
• Provide immediate life-saving interventions and stabilize critical patients
• Administer necessary medications and coordinate with healthcare professionals
• Utilize nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in emergency care
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Blocked scheduling may be requested
• 48-hour weekly guarantees cannot be approved
