Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable day and night shifts
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week over 13-week contract
• Weekend requirement: 2 weekends out of 4 as needed (Friday/Saturday for night shifts, Saturday/Sunday for day shifts)
• Holiday rotation required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
• Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover and Riverview facilities
• No on-call or call-back requirements, though additional shifts may be available for sick calls
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin RN license (Aspirus requires AHA or ARC certifications)
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required, with Med/Surg experience and travel experience
• Must be competent in both ICU and Medical/Surgical nursing
• Care for medical and surgical patients including joint replacements and general surgical cases
• Work with 11-bed unit including designated COVID patient areas
• Required scrub color: Dark blue
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of non-billable low census time
• May be placed on call during low census periods
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off will be accommodated
• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
