RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts (day/night rotation)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week contract
• Weekend requirements: 2 weekends out of 4 as needed (Friday/Saturday for nights, Saturday/Sunday for days)
• Holiday rotation required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
• Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview locations
• No on-call or call back requirements, though additional shifts may be available
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required, Med/Surg experience required, travel experience required
• Must be competent in both ICU and MedSurg skills
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin RN license (Aspirus requires AHA or ARC certifications)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Dark blue scrubs required
• Must live outside 50 miles from facility (radius rule expires 3/27)
• Will not accommodate more than 7 days of requested time off
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of nonbillable low census hours
• Care for medical and surgical patients including joint replacements and general surgical patients
• Work with 11-bed COVID unit alongside general patient population
• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
