Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week over 13-week contract
• Work every other to every third weekend
• Work every other holiday as applicable
• Must be willing to float to multiple facilities including Merrill, Wausau, Medford, and Stanley
• Can be placed on call for low census situations with 2-hour minimum call back
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Nurse-to-patient ratio typically 4-5 on days, 5-6 on evenings, and 6-7 on nights
• Work on 16-bed unit with 3 RNs on days and evenings, 2 RNs on nights
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, BLS, ACLS
• Minimum 2+ years Med Surg experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Highly prefer candidate able to read and interpret telemetry
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Excellent assessment skills required
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
