Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility to be eligible
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Must have Wisconsin RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Must pass EKG test within first week of hire
• Minimum 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) required
• 2 years IMC/PCU/Telemetry experience required
• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips mandatory
• At least one completed travel assignment required
• 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required
• Work in 44-bed intermediate cardiac step-down unit with fast-paced, high patient turnover
• Care for post-operative patients including CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, vascular procedures
• Manage patients with arrhythmias, CHF, post-procedure cardiac catheterization, pacemaker, defibrillator, ablations
• Handle acute chest pain/MI cases and medical/surgical overflow patients
• Maintain typical patient ratio of 1:4
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required; bachelor's degree preferred
