Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Can be placed on call during low census periods with minimum 2-hour call back
• Patient ratio typically 1:4 in fast-paced, high patient turnover environment
• Care for 44-bed intermediate cardiac stepdown patients including post-op CABG/valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF, post-procedure cath, pacer, defibrillator, ablations, acute chest pain/MI, and medical/surgical overflow
• Must have 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) and 2 years IMC/PCU/Telemetry experience
• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips required
• At least one completed travel assignment required
• 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required
• Must pass EKG test during first week of hire
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
