Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts in a fast-paced trauma environment
• 48 guaranteed hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule
• 12 hours of on-call requirements in a 6-week period with 30-minute response time
• 2-hour minimum for call-back situations
• May be required to float to other locations including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley
• Care for 3-4 patients per nurse in trauma level II environment
• Handle stroke certified, cardiac, neuro, pediatrics, geriatrics, and respiratory cases
• Perform lab draws, nebulizer treatments, and use Epic computer charting
• Work with Pyxis medication dispensers and collaborate with in-house lab, RT, and X-ray staff
• Minimum 5 years of experience required with at least one year of travel experience
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS
• Epic charting experience required
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Must be able to work independently and manage change effectively
