Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week (48 hours cannot be accepted)
• 13-week contract assignment starting as soon as possible
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Can be placed on call for low census situations with 2-hour minimum call back
• Must have Wisconsin RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Must pass EKG test within first week of hire
• 1 year of strong cardiac experience required (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU)
• 2 years IMC/PCU/Telemetry experience required
• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips mandatory
• At least one completed travel assignment required
• 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility location
• Work in 44-bed intermediate cardiac step-down unit with fast-paced, high patient turnover
• Typical patient ratio of 1:4
• Care for post-op CABG/valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF, and post-procedure patients
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
