Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts on the Medical and Pediatrics (MAP) unit
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday requirement
• Can be placed on low census/on-call status with 2-hour minimum call back pay
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility location
• 2 years nursing experience required, Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Treat adult patients with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, and other conditions
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days, 1:6-7 on nights
• Must demonstrate ability to work independently, manage tasks timely, and maintain positive attitude with flexibility
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
