Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts with 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Overtime paid after 48 hours worked
• 13-week contract assignment starting February 23, 2026
• Contract ends on Sunday instead of Saturday
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Subject to low census and on-call requirements with 2-hour minimum call back
• Patient ratio of 4:1 on a 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit
• Handle heavy telemetry monitoring, stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy care
• Manage chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke patients
• Work with primary patients and insulin drips in fast-paced environment
• Must have Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience required with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience mandatory
• ICU experience preferred, Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/Trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Any color scrubs allowed
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Fast-paced unit requiring resilient, independent workers who manage change well
