Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Contract ends on Sunday (not Saturday)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule required
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Can be low censused and placed on call with 2-hour minimum call back pay
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience required (firm requirement)
• Stepdown/Intermediate/PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/Trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Work in 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry
• Care for patients with stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleeds, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Manage insulin drips with 4:1 patient ratio
• Fast-paced unit requiring independence and timely task completion
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Mandatory mask wearing during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
