Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts in the Short Stay Unit (Intermediate)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week for 13-week assignment
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, including IMC and CTU units
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Patient ratio of 1:4 in 8-bed observation unit
• Care for patients with anemia, cellulitis, COPD, dehydration, pre and post-op urology and GI cases
• Manage cardiac drips including Cardizem, Nitro, insulin, and Heparin
• Handle high volume of admissions and discharges with average patient stays up to 48 hours
• Must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips and take EKG exam during compliance
• Ability to be low censused and placed on call with 2-hour minimum call back
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS highly preferred
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience and 1 travel assignment required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Must work independently and demonstrate flexibility with constant changes
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
