Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically higher acuity units
• Subject to low census call with 2-hour minimum call back requirement
• Patient ratio of 4:1 in a fast-paced environment
• Care for patients with stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Manage primary patients and insulin drips
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience required
• Stepdown/Intermediate/PCU experience required, ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/Trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Must be hard-working, resilient, and able to manage change well
• Must work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times
