Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 48 guaranteed hours per week for 13-week assignment
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday requirements
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required with trauma level II experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License and BLS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Work on Medical and Pediatrics (MAP) Unit treating adults only - no pediatric patients
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days, 1:6-7 on nights
• Treat conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and infectious diseases
• Subject to low census and on-call requirements with 2-hour minimum callback
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Must demonstrate strong work ethic, resilience, flexibility, and ability to work independently
