Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - OR

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 5x8 hour shifts with various shift times
• May be required to float to other central locations if needed
• On-call requirements: 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 back up per week with potential for additional call as needed
• Can be low censused and put on call with call back minimum of 2 hours
• Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin RN License
• Minimum 2+ years OR experience with cardiac experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Work in 21 operating rooms including all specialties with 3 cardiovascular rooms and 1-2 peripheral vascular rooms
• Handle 1-5 cases per day, approximately 45 cases per month
• Cardiothoracic experience required including off and on pump bypass graft cases, valve replacements, maze procedures, pacemakers, TAVR, and aortic dissections
• Perform case cart preparation, downtime stocking, cleaning, and other support tasks
• May circulate general cases during downtime
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must comply with flu season mask policy if vaccination is declined
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
