Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12-hour day/night variable shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units with appropriate patient assignments
• Can be put on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back pay
• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:4-5 during days/evenings, 1:5-7 during nights
• 2+ years Med Surg experience required with recent hospital experience
• Trauma level II experience and prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License and BLS
• Epic charting experience required
• Equipment used: Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, Alaris pumps
• Work in 40-bed post-surgical care unit providing pre and post-surgical care for adult and geriatric patients
• Fast-paced environment averaging 10-15 admissions per day with 90-95% occupancy
• Must be able to multitask, prioritize patient care based on acuity, and work as a team
• Scrub color: any color
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
