Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Can be low censused and placed on call with 2-hour minimum callback pay
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility location
• Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
• Must pass EKG test during first week of hire
• Minimum 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) required
• 2 years IMC/PCU/Telemetry experience required
• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips mandatory
• At least one completed travel assignment required
• 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required
• Work in 44-bed intermediate cardiac stepdown unit with fast-paced, high patient turnover
• Care for post-op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF, post-procedure cath, pacer, defibrillator, and ablation patients
• Handle acute chest pain/MI cases and medical/surgical overflow including detox, DKA, COPD exacerbations
• Typical patient ratio of 1:4
• Must be able to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
