Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 13-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 12-hour variable day/night shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back
• Work on MAP Unit (Medical and Pediatrics) treating adult patients only
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days, 1:6-7 on nights
• Treat conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, GI illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, and wound care
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS
• Minimum 2 years experience required, Trauma level II experience highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Clinical interview required
• Must demonstrate hard work ethic, resilience, and ability to manage change
• Expected to work independently, ask questions, and collaborate with team members
• Positive attitude and flexibility required for shift changes
