Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - OR

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour variable day shifts Monday through Friday
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• On-call requirements: 1 night per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 back-up per week
• Call-back minimum is 2 hours
• Work every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation
• May be low-censused and placed on call
• Handle 1-5 cases per day, approximately 45 cases per month
• Work in 21 operating rooms including all specialties, with 3 cardiovascular rooms and 1-2 peripheral vascular rooms
• Required to perform downtime tasks including pulling case carts, stocking, and cleaning
• Potential to circulate general cases during downtime
• Cardiothoracic experience required with procedures including on/off pump bypass grafts, valve replacements, maze procedures, thoracoscopic procedures, pacemakers, TAVR, and aortic dissections
• 2+ years OR experience required with cardiac experience mandatory
• Prior travel experience required
• Must be outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin RN License
• Epic charting system preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Must wear mask at all times if declining flu and COVID vaccination during flu season
